- One authorised broadcast notifies every guardian — no preference or quiet-hours window can suppress it.
- Put the school into a timed drill or a real lockdown that holds until you clear it, with a staff-wide banner.
- Sensitive actions such as lockdown require a passkey step-up before they run.
Compliance
Be audit-ready, not audit-anxious
Every action that changes a record — a badge scan, a guardian change, a broadcast — is written to an immutable audit trail with the actor, the timestamp, and what changed. Your POPIA officer has a console for the rest.
- Subject access, correction, and erasure requests are handled from the POPIA console at /admin/popia.
- Erasure always enters a mandatory 30-day cool-off and can be cancelled inside that window.
- Sensitive PII is encrypted at rest; tenant data is strictly partitioned per school.
